You will receive an overdue notice at your college email address if you have not returned your items. Library materials not returned 14 days after the final notice will be charged a $45 replacement fee per item, plus a non-refundable $10 billing charge per item. A library hold will also be placed upon your student account. You will not be able to register for classes or receive grades or transcripts until the item is returned or we receive the replacement fee. Please contact the library if you have any questions about your account.
If you receive a bill for library materials and still have the items, please return them as soon as possible. If you don’t have the items, contact the Hartness Library at 1-800-431-0025 or email@example.com to discuss the replacement fee.
If you returned your items at your CCV center, please check with the CCV academic center staff. Academic centers keep a log of all library materials that have been returned. If the items are still missing, contact the circulation staff at the Hartness Library at 1-800-431-0025 or at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if they have been received.
If you already mailed an item back or dropped it off at a Vermont Tech location, please contact the Hartness Library at 1-800-431-0025 or email@example.com to see if it has been received. Please do not purchase a replacement copy of the lost item unless you have been instructed to by a library staff member.
