Embedded Librarian ProgramProgram sign up occurs the first few weeks prior to each semester. After requesting an Embedded Librarian, a designated class librarian will be assigned to your course and will work with you and your students throughout the semester in a class librarian forum in Moodle. The librarian will be available for individual consults with students regarding research projects, and will also provide instructional posts and videos to support research basics and library skills. He or she will happily collaborate with you on any project you might wish to deploy throughout the semester. Please note: Faculty must place a new request for an Embedded Librarian prior to each new term; librarians need to be enrolled in your course so signing up is the only way to ensure this. Keep in mind that an embedded librarian is not the only way for your students to get help from a librarian. They can always Contact a Librarian via chat, text, email, and phone. If your course does not involve a lot of research, consider adding the Library Orientation or another LIM tool to your Moodle course, instead.
