Step 12. Proofread
Read & Review
After you have corrected mistakes, reviewed quotations and references, and fixed grammar and punctuation, put the paper aside for a few hours or overnight, and then proofread it again. This is your last chance to correct errors you may have missed. Remember, every error detracts from your credibility.
