Persistent Links to Articles in LexisNexis Academic

Using persistent links allows you to access to Hartness Library materials through email, on websites, in Moodle course sites etc...  However, the correct URL must be used to maintain login authentication for many of the Library’s databases. URLs must contain the letters hrt and the word libraries for authentication.

Example: http://www.lexisnexis.com.hrt-proxy.libraries.vsc.edu/lnacui2api/api/version1/getDocCui?lni=52C2-B7T1-JBG3-6189&csi=6742&hl=t&hv=t&hnsd=f&hns=t&hgn=t&oc=00240&perma=true

  1. Use the LexisNexis Academic database to search for articles.
  2. Once you have found an article, click on the title.
  3. On the right side of the screen, locate the "Copy Document Link" icon.
